Lisa McManus

Lisa McManus is an Executive Editor of ATK Reviews, the equipment testing and ingredient tasting team at America’s Test Kitchen, home of Cook’s Illustrated and Cook’s Country magazines. She's been the on-screen gadget expert for the Emmy-winning TV show America’s Test Kitchen since season 10 in 2010. She co-stars with Hannah Crowley in the Webby Award-honoree YouTube series Gear Heads, exploring the best kitchen gear for home cooks—now a new segment on America’s Test Kitchen—and co-authored the 2023 book, "Kitchen Gear: The Ultimate Owner's Manual." Lisa joined America’s Test Kitchen in 2006 after working as a newspaper food editor and magazine and newspaper journalist in Boston, New York, and Palo Alto, California. She has appeared on Chicago Tonight, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR's Morning Edition and Here & Now, and Hallmark's Home & Family. She is a graduate of Brown University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
